Wedding Hairstyles for Your Wedding Style

Sometimes brides-to-be are so pre-occupied with other wedding details that they overlook another very important item: hairstyle. The hairstyles of both the bride and bridesmaids can help to further indicate the style of the wedding. While they are perhaps a bit less noticeable at the time, the wedding album and photos don't lie. Also, a bad hairstyle could ruin the day for a bride or bridesmaid (Imagine your hair falling down and getting in your face all day long). One must also consider weather conditions (heat, wind, etc) that may undo the best hair-do. Here are a few ideas to help brides-to-be or bridesmaids determine a fitting hairstyle for any wedding style: Casual/Beach WeddingFor casual weddings, brides and bridesmaids should keep simplicity in mind. Choose a hairstyle that exudes class, but doesn't over-do it. Also, the bride's hair should be a bit more elegant or complex than the bridesmaids to create a slight distinction. Should a beach wedding be in order, flowing, simple styles that incorporate flowers are a go-to. Some brides prefer to leave their hair down; however, this is a big mistake depending on the wedding location. Should it be windy (as it is on most beaches) hair will be blowing in your face all day and your pictures will be interesting to say the least. Sometimes, depending on your photographer, this can look even more romantic and photos will turn out unbelievable, but again, it's risky. Here are some ideas for casual/beach weddings (courtesy of Brides.com):

Should the bride or bridesmaids choose a more casual style, it will lessen the formality of the affair, or look vastly out of place not only in present time, but in the pictures as well. Again, depending on the location, choosing an up-do versus down is another important decision. The up-do exudes sophistication and class. It's a go-to do for any bride. Jeweled hairpins and barrettes are another way to jazz up your do and make even a more casual hairstyle look more elegant. Another plus for up-dos is the simplicity of inserting and removing the veil, should you choose to have one. Plus, no worries about fly-aways interrupting your vision or annoying you all day (hairspray is your friend). Here are examples of classic, elegant styles to fit your formal wedding (again, courtesy of brides.com): http://www.brides.com/beauty/hairstyles/gallery/realwedding/detail/141911?f=1541%3a1542&offset=60http://www.brides.com/beauty/hairstyles/gallery/realwedding/detail/157936?f=1541%3a1542&offset=33http://www.brides.com/beauty/hairstyles/gallery/realwedding/detail/159512?f=1541%3a1542&offset=32http://www.brides.com/beauty/hairstyles/gallery/realwedding/detail/168603?f=1541%3a1542&offset=23http://www.brides.com/beauty/hairstyles/gallery/editorspick/detail/7043?f=1541%3a1542&offset=20Dramatic Styles for the Drama DivaSometimes, brides-to-be just want drama. After all, it is their day to be at the absolute center of the universe. Most choose the location or dress to achieve the dramatic effect, but others choose their hairstyle to display their personality and uniqueness. This can be done in a classy way without causing immense regret years later while gazing through the wedding album (and to avoid the somewhat inevitable, ?€?Mom, what did you do to your hair??€? when your own daughter gets married and looks at your wedding pictures). Here are some high impact, modern styles for those wishing for high drama hair (courtesy of brides.com): http://www.brides.com/beauty/hairstyles/gallery/editorspick/detail/174801?f=1541%3a1546&offset=2http://www.brides.com/beauty/hairstyles/gallery/editorspick/detail/174012?f=1541%3a1546&offset=14http://www.brides.com/beauty/hairstyles/gallery/editorspick/detail/170387?f=1541%3a1546&offset=21http://www.brides.com/beauty/hairstyles/gallery/editorspick/detail/125381?f=1541%3a1546&offset=37http://www.brides.com/beauty/hairstyles/gallery/editorspick/detail/133663?f=1541%3a1546&offset=33Whatever your style, there's a style out there. Make sure you leave ample time for yet another important detail of your big day.
